On Thursday, 22 January 2026, at 12:00 p.m. (Athens time), the program “Imprint” with Fuli Zavitsanou welcomes Kostis Kornetis, Assistant Professor of Contemporary History at the Autonomous University of Madrid, on the occasion of his participation in a series of exhibitions and events marking 50 years of Democracy and Freedom in Greece and Spain.
The guest discusses the comparative perspective in contemporary history, the era of dictatorships and the social resistance movements that emerged during that period, the post-dictatorship era (Metapolitefsi) and its lasting imprint on these societies, as well as the revisionist trends that have appeared in recent years in the public sphere regarding its interpretation.
