One of the most delightful moments for those who attended the 13th Chania Film Festival was meeting filmmaker Lefteris Charonitis.
Following the screening of his film on Nikos Kazantzakis and the award presented to him by the festival’s director, Matthaios Frantzeskakis, we had the opportunity to talk with him in an interview that reflects on all he has accomplished so far, as well as what he wishes had happened, or hopes will happen in the future.
The interview will be broadcast on Thursday, 23 October 2025, on the Voice of Greece show “Take Your Time” with Prokopis Agelopoulos, shortly after 11:00 in the morning.
During the same event, Matthaios Frantzeskakis, in an atmosphere of deep emotion, presented Lefteris Charonitis with a copy of his book “All That I Managed to Do” – only a few hours after its publication.
