“Take Your Time” explores the secrets of “Bearcave” | 19 Sept. 2025, 11:00

On Friday, 19 September, at 11:00 a.m. (Athens time), we uncover the secrets of Bearcave, the film that first drew attention two years ago with its award-winning short at the Drama Film Festival, and has since gone on to make waves on the international stage as a feature, earning major recognition at the Venice Film Festival.

The film is directed by two young Greek filmmakers, Krysianna Papadakis and Stergios Dinopoulos, who spent several years living as expatriates in the United States before “taking root” again in Greece with a project that has become one of this year’s most delightful cinematic surprises.

Bearcave tells the story of two young women bound by a deep friendship since childhood, tracing how their relationship evolves in the mountain village of Tyrna (Elati, Trikala) in Thessaly.

Set against one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in Greece, the film also offers an unvarnished glimpse into everyday life in the Greek countryside.

Produced and presented by Prokopis Agelopoulos
Broadcast: Friday, 19 September 2025, 11:00 a.m. Athens time
