“Revisiting Mikis” | 07 Sept. 2025, 12:00

On Sunday, 07 September 2025, at 12:00 Athens time, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Mikis Theodorakis, the program “Our Town” on Voice of Greece will present songs by the great composer, re-imagined by Greek performers and arrangers.

The broadcast highlights how a younger generation of artists – some of whom never met Mikis personally – approach and reinterpret some of his most beautiful songs.

Featured performances include songs by Machairitsas, Delivorias, Germanos, Vitali, Aslanidou, Ambazi, Anastasiou, Karapataki and others, along with material released by “Καθρέφτης ήχων αληθινών”.
