Today, Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 18:00 Athens time, Voice of Greece will broadcast a two-hour tribute to Mary Linda from its archives, curated by Alexis Kostas. Originally produced and broadcast in 2025, the program will be presented again in honor of the great Greek popular singer.
Immediately afterward, at 20:00 Athens time, Stelios Ioannidis will dedicate a live edition of “Irregular Notes” to Mary Linda. Through cherished recordings and memorable moments from her long artistic career, the program bids farewell to the acclaimed singer and revisits the songs that made her voice an integral part of Greece’s collective memory.
On Thursday, July 23, at 09:00 Athens time, Nikolas Aggelidis presents a special tribute to the years Mary Linda lived and created in the United States. Featuring rare live recordings and songs she released in America, the program revisits her appearances at the legendary Greek nightclubs of Manhattan and later Astoria, after the center of New York’s Greek community had shifted there. It also explores lesser-known chapters of her personal and artistic journey, from the period when the American dream transformed both her life and her relationship with Manolis Hiotis, to a candid interview she gave Nikolas Aggelidis 28 years ago on the stage of the legendary Spilia nightclub, alongside rare stories and memories that have remained largely unknown to the public.
Later that day, at 13:00 Athens time, the English-language program “Greek Music Express”, hosted by Heracles Oikonomou, honors the memory of Mary Linda with a special tribute to her life and enduring musical legacy. Looking back at the defining moments of her extraordinary career and her landmark collaborations, the program features some of the timeless songs that established her as one of the most beloved voices in the history of Greek laiko music.
Additionally, on Friday, July 24, at 7:00 a.m. (Athens time), the music program “Our Songs, Our Voice,” curated by Maria Karagiannaki Iona, will be devoted entirely to the unforgettable Mary Linda.
