“Faraway Words” about the Greek radio program in Munich | 21 Oct. 2024

Mr. Asimakis Hatzinikolaou, one of the historical members of the Greek radio program in Munich, was featured on the show. He served as a sports editor and was part of the program from its inception in November 1964 until its end in December 2002.
The occasion for this conversation was the commemorative event held in Munich to mark 60 years since the start of the Greek broadcast on Bavarian Radio.
Mr. Hatzinikolaou unfolded the history of the program, which for 37 years was a source of information for the Greek community in Germany, with hundreds of listeners.
