In the studio of Voice of Greece, the artistic director of the Hellenic-German Theater in Cologne and director, Mr. Kostas Papakostopoulos, was hosted. This year marks 40 years since he moved to Germany and 34 years since the establishment of the Hellenic-German Theater in Cologne. Mr. Papakostopoulos spoke about his latest production titled “The Navel of the Earth,” which relates to the myth of the Pythia and climate change. The play was presented at the Bonn State Theater last summer, premiered in Cologne on October 4, and continues its journey. He also discussed his artistic path in Germany, theater in Athens, and the differences between German and Greek thought and culture.
