Tonia Moropoulou, professor at the Polytechnic, vice president of the Technical Chamber of Greece, and president of the International Scientific Committee of the Women Economic Forum, spoke about the Women Economic Forum, which is being held for the first time in Athens. Additionally, actress-director Kyriaki Mitsou called in from London to discuss the play “For Three Washing Machines and a Fridge,” which is premiering in the British capital. The play is based on the research of Hellenist professor Gonda Van Steen on the illegal adoption of children from Greece to America during the Cold War era.
