Greek sport recorded yet another international distinction in France. Achilleas Antoniou stepped onto the third tier of the podium at the European Épée Cup.
He had claimed the same position in 2024 in Denmark, competing in the team event with the Greek Junior National Team, alongside Fotis Minos and Vasilis Tsokas.
How he went on to win two bronze medals in the Under-17 age category—at Grenoble and Copenhagen respectively—was recounted as he joined his own voice with the Voice of Greeks everywhere, via ERT’s worldwide radio service Voice of Greece, on the program Athletic Voice, hosted by Grigoris Nanis.
