The program welcomed distinguished Greek-American artist Angeliki Psoni live in the studio. A dynamic New York-based attorney, recognized as a “Rising Star,” she has also built an impressive artistic career as a jazz vocalist, pianist, and producer, performing at renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Teatro Nacional de Cuba in Havana.
Special mention was made of her groundbreaking funk single Troublemaker.
The discussion also focused on her unique collaboration with acclaimed Greek lyricist Lina Nikolakopoulou on the Mediterranean-infused track Samba Griega, as well as the atmospheric and award-winning Latin pop song I Wasn’t Planning This.
The program also announced her highly anticipated appearance on Tuesday, 19 May, at Half Note Jazz Club, where she will share the stage with three-time Grammy-nominated Cuban pianist Dayramir Gonzalez in an explosive live performance blending Afro-Cuban jazz with Greek musical color.
