We turn the calendar back 49 years to a Eurovision Song Contest that was very different from the one we know today.
The setting is London in 1977. Through a reverse countdown, we listen to the first 15 songs in the competition and discover the stories behind their performers. By then, the Eurovision Song Contest was already in its 21st year, having begun in Lugano in 1956.
For Greece, this was only its third participation in the contest—one that would go down in Eurovision history.
