The program welcomed journalist Chara Agridioti from Paris, who guided us through the GrecDoc Greek Documentary Festival, taking place in the French capital from 21 to 23 November. Founded in 2019 by philhellene documentary producer Michel Noll and the Cine Club team, the festival aims to showcase the contemporary face of Greece. After Paris, the Greek documentaries will also travel to other French cities, including Marseille, Nice, and Lyon.

The program also featured internationally awarded visual artist Giota Vorgia, on the occasion of her return to Athens from Texas and the “opening” of her studio. Giota Vorgia has been recognized in international art competitions in Greece, the United States, and London, and in 2023 was selected among the top artists of the London Art Biennale. Her works are part of public collections (Greek Consulate in Houston, Genshai Utah, Lumina Ladies Club Austin, institutions in Lebanon and Italy) as well as private collections across nine countries: Greece, the U.S., Canada, the United Kingdom, Spain, Lebanon, countries in Africa, China, and Japan. Since 2004, she has been developing the thematic series Uplifting Naturalism — with stone and sea as symbols of presence, stability, and inner calm. Her art is described as therapeutic and healing by those who have experienced it.
