Greece has won the bronze medal at the World Shooting Championship in the men’s team skeet event.
The trio of athletes — Nikos Mavrommatis, Babis Chalkiadakis, and Panagiotis Gerochristos — stepped onto the third place of the podium at the competition, which was held in Greece, at the Malakasa Shooting Range.
The United States claimed the gold medal and Italy the silver.
Nikos Mavrommatis added his voice to that of all Greeks through ERT’s global radio service, Voice of Greece, on the programme “Athletic Voice” with Grigoris Nanis.
