Christos Kavalis, President of the Greek Community of Cairo, recently honored with the Order of the Phoenix by the President of the Hellenic Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, appeared on the show to discuss various topics. He spoke about the visit of Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis to the Greek Hospital of Cairo, his vision for a Greek nursing school, the historic community schools (Ambetios and Achillopouleios), the Greek Cultural Center of Cairo, and the community’s extensive activities. He also addressed the most pressing issues facing the Greek diaspora in Cairo.
