At the World Taekwondo Championships in Uzbekistan, Paraskevi Kalogirou won the silver medal in the junior women’s -42 kg category.
This was the second time she reached the podium at the World Championships, having previously won the bronze medal in the same competition as a cadet athlete. At the European Championships, she has earned one gold and one silver medal.
The European champion, who has won a total of four medals at European and World Championships, joined the Voice of Greece and the program “Athletic Voice” with Grigoris Nanis to share her story and achievements with listeners around the world.
