On the Monday, July 7th, 2025 episode, after the top headlines from online media and newspapers, we discussed the latest political developments with Kostas Poulakidas, political editor at the newspaper Avgi. We wrapped up the first hour with international news, presented by Ivana Djordjevic.
The second hour was almost entirely dedicated to tourism, as we had a very interesting conversation with Mr. Lysandros Tsilidis, president of the Hellenic Association of Travel and Tourist Agencies. He spoke about the current state of the tourism sector this summer, as well as issues affecting popular Greek destinations.
Right after, journalist Eirini Prompona from Naxos reported on this year’s illegal developments on the island’s beaches, and a special issue concerning the planned relocation of the colossal Kouros statues from the Flerio area of Melanes—where they’ve remained for 2,500 years—to the island’s new museum. A move the local community strongly opposes.
