Achilleas Moraitis was born in Athens. He began his musical journey at the age of five, studying classical violin. In his teenage years, he was captivated by rock music and taught himself to play the guitar.
Since 2014, he has been active professionally, performing at music venues and participating in festivals. Following the release of his debut album “Drops of Paradise” in February 2020, he has contributed as a composer, lyricist, and performer to the work of other artists, all while continuing his live appearances with various musical ensembles.
From the blues guitar that mourns in “Half a Soul,” through the evocative “Strange Dance,” and the poignant “Bow” — a final gift from lyricist Isaak Sousis — to the sun-soaked melodies of “Excuses,” Achilleas Moraitis invites us on a musical journey full of emotion and atmosphere.
In the studio with us today, the ever-curious and creatively restless Achilleas.
Stay tuned and enjoy!
