Asteris Kutulas is this week’s ‘Remarkable Personality’ on Voice of Greece | 20 Apr. 2024, 16:00

The Greek-German director, writer and music producer Asteris Kutulas is hosted on Mina Ralli’s show “Remarkable Personalities” on April 20th, 2024.

He tells us about German Philhellenism but also about German anti-Hellenism.

Having himself translated into German works of important Greek poets, such as Constantine Cavafy, George Seferis and Odysseas Elitis, he explains what are the common characteristics of Greek and German poetry, while remembering with us his acquaintance with Giannis Ritsos and his collaboration with Miki Theodorakis.

The award-winning director and founder of the Greek Film Festival in Berlin also tells us about this year’s huge success of the event and about his next artistic projects.

Remarkable Personalities is Mina Ralli’s weekly show on Voice of Greece. Remarkable Greek people – both native and expats – share with us their stories and the experiences they have acquired so far in their careers.
