Greeks Around the World – Greece in Luxembourg introduces 3 of the founding members of the Greek Reading Club of Luxembourg: Mrs Olga Ioannidou, Mrs Maria Spyrogianni and Mr Petros Papakalos.
The Greek Reading Club was created in 2019 by a group of five people with common interests in literature and reading. From 2019 to now, the reading club has organized over forty meetings in which a similar number of books have been discussed, both in person and online during the pandemic. In addition, some meetings hosted important writers from Greece, who discussed their work. This year, for the first time, the Greek Reading Club hosted three Luxembourgish authors whose works have been translated into Greek, at an event held at the National Literature Centre of Luxembourg.
