On the Tuesday, September 9, 2024 show, we discussed an issue that has arisen due to the prolonged drought affecting bees and the dramatic decrease in honey production across Greece. To shed light on this, we were joined by Mr. Kostas Leontarakis, President of the Federation of Beekeeping Associations of Greece.
Following that, and after reviewing the newspaper headlines, we connected with Sofia, Bulgaria, to meet Mrs. Kalina Bliznaska, the founder of the Greek Language School “Panellinika.” Despite having no prior connection to Greece, she developed a deep love for the country, studied Greek Philology, and speaks Greek better than many native speakers.
In the second hour of the show, after the international news presented by Ivana Djorjevic, we hosted in the studio Mrs. Maria Kotrotsou, a member of the Greek diaspora living and working in Paris. She is a pianist and music composer who has achieved great success abroad, including collaborations with Greek artists. She has also ventured into the field of electronic dance music and composes music for cinema. The show concluded with sports news presented by Dimitris Yahanatzis in the studio.
