On the Thursday, August 6, 2026 edition, after reviewing the headlines from online media and newspapers, we discussed the aftermath of the devastating wildfire in Western Attica, looking into its causes and the measures that need to be taken, with Panagiotis Margetis, Mayor of Megara. The first hour concluded with international news from Ivana Djordjevic.
In the second hour, we presented a short feature on the major issue of student housing. We looked at rental prices and the particular conditions in two areas with very different characteristics. Theodoros Basios, President of the Ioannina Real Estate Agents Association, and Loukia Kalligianni, President of the Chania Real Estate Agents Association, provided us with the latest figures for this year.
We then spoke with Myrsini Tzinelli, ERT correspondent on Lesvos, about the 12th Molyvos International Music Festival, taking place from August 12 to 19 with this year’s theme, “Eudaimonia.”
