Nikolas Tsantoulis on “Fair Winds and Following Seas” | 07 Oct. 2024

Nikolas Tsantoulis from Piraeus, who now lives in Thebes, with 37 years of service, speaks to “Fair Winds and Following Seas”.

“I first boarded on 19-12-1980 and left the ships on 23-08-2021,” he says.

He advises everyone working at sea and in the shipping industry to take care of themselves and be very cautious on ships, as he characteristically says, “Metal can be rebuilt, but a human cannot.”

He thanks Manolis Fyssas and other crew members of the M/V DIAS, who managed to save him from the poisonous fumes caused by a fumigation that was carried out to load cargo in South America, while he was the 3rd engineer.
