The talented acrtress Danai Loukaki, currently starring in the second season of ERT’s popular series Electra, as well as on the stage of Radio City in Thessaloniki every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, where she performs alongside an exceptional cast in Dimitra Papadopoulou’s hilarious theatrical farce On the Brink, will be the guest of Prokopis Agelopoulos on the show Take Your Time, on Voice of Greece, this Thursday, December 12, shortly after 11 a.m.
Danai Loukaki graduated from the Drama School of the Karolos Koun Art Theater in 2016. She holds an MA in Performance Making from Goldsmiths, University of London (2012, awarded a scholarship from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens) and a degree in English Language and Literature from the same university (2010). If she hadn’t pursued acting, sports might have been her calling, as she was a gold medalist in canoe-kayak in the Greek Junior Championship and a competitive swimmer with numerous participations in national championships over the years.
She is a founding member of Ferodo Bridges International Platform for Artistic Collaboration and the 2/3 Below Theatre and Performance Group, based in London. Danae has directed and performed in productions and performances in Greece, London, Edinburgh (Edinburgh Fringe), and Barcelona. Her theater credits include significant productions such as Erofili, Gemma, The Maids, and Hamlet. Danae has also appeared in films, including Pantelis Voulgaris’ Brides and the short films Postcards, The Most Beautiful Story in the World, and I Saw Eyes.
