Grigoris Polychronidis is one of the legends in the history of boccia worldwide.
The title of “legend” in the sport has been attributed to him by the President of the Hellenic Paralympic Committee, Giorgos Kapellakis, in an interview.
At the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris, he secured his seventh career medal in the event, marking his sixth participation since his debut in Athens 2004. The World and European Champion won the bronze medal in France, with his wife serving as his ramp assistant.
