On the Thursday, March 6, 2025 episode, after the introduction and the front-page news, we discussed Political Current Affairs with journalist and political reporter Dimitris Koukloumperis. Immediately following, we connected with Berlin, where musicologist Ursula Vryzaki updated us on the upcoming concert of the Greek-German Choir “Polyphonia,” scheduled for Sunday, International Women’s Day. The concert will feature songs from great Greek female creators and performers.
In the second hour, we met Dimitris Tsitsiklis, Computer Engineer and project manager, director, and senior programmer at Starcode Studios L.P., based in Kozani. Together with his small team, Tsitsiklis developed the game Anachronia, aimed at gamers with high expectations and on par with popular games on gaming PCs and consoles. The game will be launched for funding on Kickstarter on March 4, 2025, after successfully passing initial tests, offering gamers an exciting new world of adventure. Tsitsiklis spoke about the challenges and difficulties of creating a company in Greece for such an ambitious project and succeeding in an incredibly competitive industry like gaming.
In the final segment of the show, we welcomed Maria Psychountaki, a psychologist and sports psychologist, professor at the University of Athens, who discussed the relationship between children, teenagers, and sports, teams, and coaches. What should be the behavior of those we entrust our children to? What role do parents play in fostering a healthy relationship with sports in their children that lasts a lifetime? What are the common mistakes we make as parents in managing this issue, and how do we handle our children’s dreams and ambitions in sports? These and many other questions were addressed in a very engaging conversation on a topic that concerns almost every Greek family.
