On the Thursday, May 8, 2025 broadcast, we welcomed international relations expert Dimitris Tzanidakis to discuss two pressing global issues: the dangerously escalating tensions between Pakistan and India, and the political uncertainty in Germany following the unexpected failure to elect a new Chancellor in the first parliamentary vote.
In the second segment, the focus shifted to tourism, with particular attention to the labour shortages in seasonal jobs. Lysandros Tsilidis, President of the Federation of Hellenic Associations of Travel and Tourism Agencies, joined us to explore potential solutions that could make summer tourism jobs more attractive and sustainable in popular destinations.
In the final part of the show, we hosted Dimitris Nakos, director of the film “Meat”. Faithful to his artistic commitment to telling stories that reflect “the here and now of real people,” Nakos introduces a narrative of concealment set within the intimate world of a rural Greek village, where human relationships shift in the effort to shield the true culprit.
“Meat” is his first feature-length film as a director and has already been selected and awarded at numerous international film festivals. The film is a co-production with ERT, Greece’s public broadcaster.
