“Take Your Time” for a journey across current affairs | 30 May 2025, 10:00

On Friday, May 30, tune in to Voice of Greece and the show “Take Your Time” for a rich and varied broadcast, curated and presented by Prokopis Agelopoulos.

The program begins just after 10:00 AM with a conversation with Dimitris Kourretas, Regional Governor of Thessaly, about the Region’s new initiative to build housing in response to the growing need for affordable living solutions.

Next, we connect with Los Angeles to speak with filmmaker and festival director Ersi Danou, head of the Los Angeles Greek Film Festival, who shares highlights from this year’s program and the expanding presence of Greek cinema in the U.S.

As the second hour kicks off, we welcome Rita Moraitaki-Pikrou, President and CEO of the National Evaluation Center of Quality and Technology in Health (EKAPTY), who speaks about the event “Hands That Care, Hearts That Thank”, honoring International Nurses Day. The event takes place the same evening (6:00–8:00 PM) at the Divani Caravel Hotel.

Later in the show, Leonidas Antonopoulos, director of Kosmos 93.6, drops by the studio to talk about this year’s edition of Kosmos Jazz Party, hosted by Kosmos FM. The celebration takes place that same night at Gazarte (9:00 PM) with free admission.

The broadcast closes with a visit to Amorgos, in the heart of Independent Bookstore Week. There, we meet Moschoula Paraskevopoulou, owner of a beloved bookshop in Katapola, who shares her reflections on literature, island life, and community.
