Captain Michail Alexandreskos of the Hellenic Navy, Head of the Naval Week Office at the Directorate of Protocol and Public Relations of the Hellenic Navy General Staff, speaks on “Fair Winds and Following Seas” and Voice of Greece.
He guides us through one of the country’s most historic maritime institutions — Naval Week, taking place this year from 29 June to 6 July, across Greece, wherever there is sea and water.
Captain Alexandreskos emphasizes that “for Greece, the sea is not just geography. It is past, present, and future. It is the heart of our culture, the root of our strength, the mirror of our soul — and above all, the sea is love.”
