The discussion focused on the upcoming European budget—which has sparked controversy—France’s shift toward austerity, and the case involving Greece’s Payment and Control Agency for Guidance and Guarantee Community Aid (OPEKEPE).
In the second hour, after the international news presented by Ivana Djordjevic, we connected live with Milos and spoke with the island’s mayor, Manolis Mikelis. The conversation revolved around a recent issue regarding the construction permit for a hotel near Sarakiniko, broader concerns about illegal building activity, and the state of tourism on the island this summer.
Before the sports news segment, Gerasimos Andreatos joined the show to speak about a musical tribute to Manolis Chiotis, directed by Lina Nikolakopoulou. After a successful winter run at Gialino Music Theater, the performance will be staged again on Friday night, 18 July, at 9 p.m., in Avdi Square, Metaxourgeio, as part of the “Summer in Athens 2025” events organized by the City of Athens.
