On Saturday, September 7, 2024, the show “Remarkable Personalities” with Mina Ralli takes us on a journey to Japan.

The guest of the show is Stelios Prezerakos, a physics and mathematics professor at Tamagawa Academy and author of the book “A Greek in Edo,” published by Memento.

With Stelios Prezerakos, who grew up in Piraeus and has lived in Tokyo for the past twelve years, we will explore the Land of the Rising Sun through the eyes of a Greek living in Japan. We’ll learn about the differences between Far Eastern and Mediterranean culture, the secrets of Japanese cuisine that contribute to longevity, and why Japanese fairy tales are filled with ghosts, demons, and malicious spirits.
