Anna Filini on ”Our Town” | 22.01.2024, 19:00

On Monday, January 22nd, at 19:00-20:00, the show “Our Town” will host Anna Filini.

The artist will talk about her thematic painting exhibitions on the songs of Markos Vamvakaris, the poems from Baudelaire’s collection “The Flowers of Evil”, Mataroa, her work “painting Odysseus” and her work on Constantine Cavafy.

The artist and architect will refer to her life in Berlin and Milan, where she developed a special resistance activity while studying and starting the “adventure” of painting.

She will talk about her dad, fighter Kostas Filinis, this great personality who stood out in the social struggles for a better society. While discussing her studies in architecture, she will also talk to us about Athens, about the effort to save important historical elements and finally she will “guide” us through her favorite walk around the city.

The show will feature music she heard in the cities where she lived and that inspired her in her artistic journey
