Composer/pianist Panagiotis Liaropoulos on “Imprint” | 10 Oct. 2024, 12:00

On Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 12:00 Athens time, the show “Imprint” with Fuli Zavitsanou will feature an interview with composer and pianist Panagiotis Liaropoulos, who resides in Boston, USA, and is an Associate Professor of Composition at the Berklee College of Music.

Liaropoulos will discuss the first Digital Audiovisual Archive of Traditional Music of Amorgos and its Islands, a project that acts as a preservation and dissemination tool for this unique Cycladic musical heritage, a project he has been closely involved in. He will also talk about the various fascinating events he organizes in the U.S., focusing on the Greek musical tradition.
