Yiannis Manetas on “Imprint” | 08 May 2025, 12:00

On Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 12:00 (Athens time), biologist and author Yiannis Manetas joins “Imprint” with host Fuli Zavitsanou on Voice of Greece, to discuss his latest book, The Darwinian Afflictions: A Biologist’s Reflections on Social Darwinism, War, Violence, and Inequality.

In this thought-provoking conversation, Manetas explores Darwin’s theory of evolution and how it has been misappropriated as an ideological tool to justify racism and social inequality. He also calls for a rethinking of the widely accepted notion of human nature as inherently violent and selfish.
