Composer/songwriter Kostas Livadas visits “Our Town” | 09 Feb. 2025, 12:00

On Sunday, February 9, from 12:00 to 14:00 Athens time, Our Town will host Kostas Livadas.

The composer and songwriter will discuss the most significant milestones of his fascinating artistic journey, as well as his collaborations in the music industry with artists such as Christos Aidonidis, Vasilis Papakonstantinou, Eleni Zouganeli, Vasilis Lekkas, Kostas Makedonas, Stamatis Kraounakis, Andreas Babalys, Babis Stokas, Dionysis Savvopoulos, and others. He will also talk about his work with lyricists like Manos Eleftheriou, Thodoris Gkonis, Lina Nikolakopoulou, Kostas Fasoulas, and more.

He will revisit the magical night at Café Parastasi, where Epi Ptycheio was presented—the project that marked the first time he performed his own compositions. Special emphasis will be given to his ten successful personal albums, featuring some of his most beloved songs. The discussion will also cover the music he has composed for theater, cinema, and television.

In an in-depth conversation with Themis Rodamitis, Livadas will reflect on social and aesthetic issues that concern him in daily life, including freedom, love, and friendship.

Songwriter Thanasis Gaifyllias will also share his thoughts on the artist.
