Giorgos Babiniotis is this week’s “Remarkable Personality” on VoG | 18 May 2024, 16:00

On Saturday, May 18, 16:00 Athens time, Giorgos Babiniotis is invited on Mina Ralli’s show “Remarkable Personalities” on Voice of Greece.

The acclaimed philologist and linguist, whose name has become synonymous to the Greek language, explains why language is essentially a way of thinking.

Mr. Babiniotis analyzes his proposal for the establishment of a new system of admission to higher education, based on the evaluation of students’ performance during the three years of high school. The emeritus professor of linguistics and former rector of the University of Athens also comments on the image of Greek universities and the establishment of non-profit non-state universities.
