“Sunstone” by Octavio Paz | 20 Mar. 2025, 12:00

This Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 12:00, On the occasion of World Poetry Day, the radio show “Imprint” with Fuli Zavitsanou is dedicated to “Sunstone”, the masterpiece by Mexican poet and intellectual Octavio Paz. Described by Julio Cortázar as “the most beautiful love poem in Latin American literature,” this work earned Paz the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1990.

We will read excerpts from “Sunstone”, translated by Kostas Koutsourelis, discuss its creator, and follow the rhythm of his poetic language in this landmark work of Spanish-language and world literature.
