Tasoula Vervenioti on “Imprint” | 23 Jan. 2025, 12:00

On Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 12:00 Athens time, the program “Imprint” with Fuli Zavitsanou hosts historian Tasoula Vervenioti, on the occasion of the 4th Oral History Festival titled “WOMEN – without subtitle,” taking place at Technopolis in the City of Athens on January 24, 25, and 26.

She discusses the importance of oral history in highlighting historical memory “from below,” the creation and ongoing development of horizontal and self-organized Oral History Groups throughout Greece, for which she has been a driving force, and, of course, the 4th Oral History Festival, which focuses on women as the quintessential “invisible” historical subjects.
