The program “Take Your Time” will host Georgia Piki, the head of the Greek School of the Greek Community of Northampton in the United Kingdom, on Wednesday, October 30, just after 11:00 am Athens time.
We will discuss the approximately 2,000 Greeks and Greek Cypriots who have lived in Northampton for over 40 years, St. Neophytos Church, which serves as the central gathering place and unifying link for people striving to maintain their connection with the Greek language and Greek Orthodox traditions, the functioning of the Greek school, which has about 50 students, as well as the challenges it faces.
