On Thursday, May 15, 2025, shortly after 11:00 AM Athens time, Vassilis Voulgaris—publisher of the Greek newspaper europolitis.eu and newly appointed PASOK Secretary for the Greek Diaspora—will be the guest of Prokopis Agelopoulos in the studio of Voice of Greece, on the show “Take Your Time.”
Voulgaris will discuss his long-standing connection to PASOK, which began in his childhood in the neighborhoods of Western Athens and Piraeus. He will also talk about his relationship with the Greek diaspora in Central Europe, cultivated over more than 15 years of providing news through Europolitis.
Mr. Voulgaris will address the demands of the Greek diaspora to the government and political parties in Greece, including the conditions necessary for the return of emigrants who left during the economic crisis. He will also comment on the political situation in Greece, the need for greater diaspora involvement in public life, and the current challenges in Germany, marked by political instability and the rise of the far right.
