On Thursday, November 31, 2024, at 18:00 Athens time, Alexis Kostas will welcome to the studio of Voice of Greece drummer/ composer Kostas Anastasiadis, the creator of the music method “The Harmony of Rhythm‘, which delves into the origins of rhythm and its emergence from a shared archetypal foundation.
Originally from Central Macedonia, Kostas Anastasiadis studied at the Musicians Institute in California, where he was honored with the “Unique Individual Stylist Award.” His innovative ideas have been recognized by legendary musicians such as Jack DeJohnette, Vinnie Colaiuta, Ralph Humphrey, Tony Williams, Billy Higgins, and others.
As a curious researcher who honors his roots, he explores musical tradition and evolution, creating a new blend of sounds and moods, while performing concerts, recording music, and leading seminars around the world.
