On Sunday, 23 November 2025, from 12:00 to 14:00 (Athens time), the program “Our Town” with Themis Rodamitis presents a special tribute titled “Echoes of Manos Hadjidakis.”
The broadcast revisits landmark texts, songs and musical moments—distinct highlights from the rich and singular journey of a beloved and unforgettable composer who spoke to us with the most essential and authentic words about music, Greek culture, and the people who shape it.
Listeners will hear readings of texts written about Hadjidakis by eminent figures (Rallou Manou, Nikos Koundouros, Menis Koumandareas, among others), while several collaborators and close admirers of his work share their artistic connection with him: director Dimitris Vernikos, composer Nikos Kypourgos, singer Manolis Mitsias, sound engineer Yiannis Sigletos, and poet Giorgos Chronas.
