In the show, journalist, author, and director Despoina Sotiropoulou was hosted. The occasion for this conversation was her award from the 3rd International Epidaurus Film Festival for her short film “I, the Beast.”
Despoina Sotiropoulou spoke about her journey in journalism, particularly in television and radio, her involvement in directing, which she studied at the Stavrakos School, her book writing, as well as the pandemic and its impact on humanity, contemporary Greek cinema today, and more. It is noted that she has also directed the award-winning documentary on gender-based violence “The Daughters of Silence.”
