On Saturday, June 1, 2024, the show “Narratives -Fairy Tales for Children and Grown-ups” with Maria Karagiannaki-Iona, presents the third and final part of the book “Ten Proverbs Like Fairy Tales” by the author Afrouli Bersou (KEDROS publications), which tells the stories behind ten famous Greek proverbs.
There are some proverbs that we use very often in our everyday life. But do we ever wonder what the stories behind them are?
The protagonists in our story are Katerina and Giorgos, two young siblings who spend their holidays in the village with their grandparents. Through Grandma’s tales, the children and with them our young and old listeners learn what the tales mean and how ten well-known proverbs were created!
