There are some proverbs that we use very often in our everyday life. But do we ever wonder what are the stories behind them?
The show “Narratives – Fairy tales for children and grown ups” with Maria Karagiannaki Iona, on Saturday, June 8th, 2024, presented the second part of the book Ten proverbs like fairy tales by the author Afrouli Bersou, published by KEDROS Editions.
The protagonists in our story are Katerina and Giorgos, two young brothers who spend their holidays in the village with their grandparents. Through Grandma’s tales, the children and with them our young and old listeners learn what the tales mean and how ten well-known proverbs were created!
