Vasilis Vasileiadis, President of the Panhellenic Association of Shipyards and Boatbuilders, speaks on “air Winds and Following Seas” and Voice of Greece.
He sounds the alarm, emphasizing that “shipyards, boatbuilders, carpenters, and traditional wooden boats must be preserved because they are the identity of Greece. We must withstand the pressures of developments and invest in wooden shipbuilding and boatyards so that the remaining 60-70 shipyards in the country are saved and schools for the craft of boatbuilding are established,” concludes Vasilis Vasileiadis.
