“Our Town” presents Kostas Theologou. The author, professor at NTUA and intellectual will talk about the citizen and public space, explaining his own term “priblic”, about the style and ethos in our everyday behavior in the modern city, which presupposes respect, kindness, social conscience, self-knowledge, good will and, of course, love.
In a discussion with Themis Rodamitis, he refers to identities, individual and collective, the need to coexist with people different from us, the inescapable interweaving of human culture with catalytic technology, the need to shape a code of values from a young age, through the “teaching” we ought to seek or detect in behaviors and attitudes that inspire us. Kostas Theologou also talks about his hometown, Thessaloniki, as well as cities he traveled to and stood out.
