The distinctive composer Giorgos Kompogiannis shares insights into his creative journey, both in songwriting and theatrical composition. He speaks about the Greek poets whose work he has set to music, and about his original scores that have accompanied more than thirty theatrical productions.
Special mention is made of the first prize he was awarded in Seville for his musical performance dedicated to the Barcelona Olympic Games—a work that later toured major theatres in Greece and across the globe.
Also featured in the program is singer-songwriter Dimitris Zervoudakis, who offers his own perspective on Kompogiannis’ work and artistic path.
