On Saturday, January 13th,, the show “Our Town” of Voice of Greece will host Vassilis Karapostolis.
The professor of Culture & Communication at the University of Athens and also writer, will discuss in the studio with Th. Rodamitis and will develop his thoughts on the concepts of love as opposed to “I like you”, violence against women, violence against children, the role of the family.
Vassilis Karapostolis will refer in everyday life routine, the inertia of the individual, his desire for distinction in the public sphere, beauty, courage, the good in imagination as creation, the “love” for the eternal, the value of the will to act.
He will make references to his latest book entitled “the pulse of the world – love’s struggles in our time”. He will tell us that “winning over strangers is an element of civilization” and that “the forces of inertia would like to kill romantic love and love so as not to remind people that life is ready to gestate – if they want it to, and to leave work for posterity”.
