Take Your Time with Prokopis Agelopoulos | 03.11.2023

On Friday, November 3, 2023, we speak with Mr. Gerasimos Papadopoulos, research director of the Geodynamic Institute of Athens about the earthquake that occurred at 8:26 am Greek time, in the area of Prokopios in Evia and was felt in Athens. Mr. Papadopoulos appears reassuring, based on the normal aftershock sequence, while he once again draws attention to the need for checking all public buildings, especially the older ones, as soon as possible. He did not rule out the possibility that, in the coming years, technology will be able to offer us an early warning in the event of an earthquake.

Next up, we are joined in studio and get acquainted with a bright young Greek scientist who excels in the UK as an economist specializing in technology parks, Mr. Panagiotis Kyriakopoulos. We talk with him about innovation in agricultural production, what the creation of technology parks has to offer to local communities and which areas in Greece could host these. We talk about the Brain Drain and how we could reverse it with the development of new technologies and the support of Labor, but also how we can support female entrepreneurship, a subject he discusses in his book. Mr. Kyriakopoulos is in Greece to attend the Forbes event and be honored as one of the 30 most influential and successful young people under 30 in their fields, for his research and his contribution to highlighting the importance of technology parks in Greece and abroad.

In the second part of the show we give the floor to tax advisor Mr. Panagiotis Pantelis who explains what the new bill is expected to contribute to the fight against tax evasion. Immediately afterwards, the broadcasting program ends with Ivana Djordjevic on international news and Antigone Drakatou in the studio for the news from the world of sports.
