On the show of Thursday, June 20th, 2024, we dealt with the developments in the center-left, talking to Mr Dionysis Teboneras, member of the Political Secretariat of SYRIZA PS. Afterwards, we welcomed to the studio Antonis Karagiannakis, journalist and presenter of the successful and award-winning show of Voice of Greece, “Fair Winds and Following Seas”, with whom we talked about his love for the sea, his experiences on ships, his transition to journalism and his love for the radio, but also for his home-island, Kasos.
In the second hour, we “traveled” to Paros and talked with Mrs Katerina Moschou, agronomist and owner of a livestock farm on the island that produces cheese products. Mrs Moschou left her life in Athens in 2017 to build the unit on the island where her mother is from but now faces serious problems with uncontrolled housing development. Mr Themis Bakas, president of the Panhellenic Network of Real Estate Agents e-trail estates, informed us about the new operating regime for Airbnb and whether it will be applied in practice, but also the big problem that still exists with the accommodation of civil servants and students in touristic places in Greece. Mrs Anastasia Gaitanou, president of the Panhellenic Federation of Tour Guides, informed us about the serious problems that the industry is facing, due to the new bill of the Ministry of Tourism that is causing protests and was also the reason for their mobilizations.
